I filled out the application on line and put my income. I received a response from them stating I was approved and they could help me. The sent me numerous emails and several phone calls as well that they wanted to meet with me. After several attempts I finally went in. I was very disappointed and upset. The sales associate first of all wasn't interested at a in helping me. She informed me I didn't make enough money. I told her why was I told by email my application was accepted. She just gave me one thing after another why they couldnt help me. You have to pretty much go in with good credit and thousands of dollars but even with a lot of money she told me I would still be looking at 3 to 4 hundred dollars a month. Really you should be honest from the beginning because my time is also very valuable. I wouldn't have to have driven so far and wasted my time with someone who really wasn't interested.
None of the cars are priced!!!! You have no idea of what you are looking at is even in your price range.. I spent over 3 hours there trying to work out a deal.. I told them my maximum payment I could affford and they tried to put me in a car double my budget!!!!! If they woulda just told me the price up front I could have moved on!!!!! They are sharks and not up front.. I'd recommended going some place else!!! Best of luck in your car search!!!!
It was the worst time I had at a dealer ship before they told me over the phone that I was approved but when went to the dealer ship the said that I wasn't and they ran my credit again they say that they do not use your past against u but the do. Then the sales men came out and told me that I was approved for a Nissan frontier but I told them I wanted a full size pickup then I left the on my way home he called me and told me he got me approved on a tundra but they needed 1500 down I told him no I could give them 500 hundred so he said he would call me back but he didn't I called him but he was out with another Clint doing a test drive. Then he did call back latter and told me that they still needed the 1500 and that my payments would b 550 a month I said no thanks.
They were very nice BUT I drove an hour and a half to get there and I was shown 1 (yep ONE) car I could "qualify for. It was a gorgeous car but it was $125.00 more a month than I told them was my max payment ($400 is what I said, which to me I thought was a good payment!!) and when I asked to see something else I was told that's the only car they could show me. Now that's when I got uncomfortable... if they would have given me some options chances are I would of gone with the $19,000. Lexus anyway!! I've purchased a few cars in my 50 years on the planet so when they gave me no choices I decided it was not the place for me!!! On the plus side I now know I can qualify for my original price range of $10,000 to $13,000.
My experience was horrible. I was quoted one amount over the phone and was told all I needed was to verify my income and my residence ... I drove to stockton and the customer service was horrible. My sales person was more involved with talking sports and cracking jokes with his coworkers than answering my questions and ultimately I walked out because of the whole experience. I was also told i was approved for the car i was searching for but the sales person told me he would be picking the car. No, that takes away from my first time care buying experience. And to top it off the woman over the phone told me it was based off my income and they ran my credit after she told me they wouldn't. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. And to think I was hopeful. Oh well. I will keep searching.
