PERSONAL STORIES.... grow up folks it's A COURT not a tv show(y'all got Facebook for that) State the facts not the bs. .....YOU aren't the only one in the state of CA.... and sorry you blew your cash on trying to change something that not even a court or God can change.... the other parent ....pick a better partner next time?

Review: limited parking, Bring coins. Bring your paperwork as complete as possible for smoother service. bathrooms are accessible and CLEAN! Information is straightforward and properly displayed. Typical wait times vary by the amount of people that come in and need this service..... The STAFF IS POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL!!!!
Bad experiences all around, I have been here several times for 2 custody cases and they are either racist, against women or just don't care about the well being of your children. They don't care if you have a deadbeat ex, they will favor the losers and make everything in their favor, doesn't matter if you're a honest hard working single mother living in another county, they want to make everything difficult for the mothers! The mediator, the commissioner and even the judge who are ALL WOMEN are on some kind of power trip! They favor the fathers always, even if they are druggies, woman beaters and everything else! Can't trust this court system in Stockton, they are all corrupt! They really don't care about the safety and well being of the kids and doing what's best for them at all!! They won't even hear you out or listen to you when you try to reason with them or plead your case! It's disgusting!!
I don't live in the Stockton area, but my case is registered at this courthouse. After reading the negative reviews for this courthouse, I was dreading having to go file my paperwork. I have to say , what I experienced was the opposite of what I read in the reviews. The line moved along quickly and I was helped within 15 minutes. Donna was the one who assisted me with my paperwork and in scheduling my court date and she was amazing. Very friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The guards at the front were also very friendly. It was so nice to have a pleasant experience after what I was expecting and even despite why I was there.
Once my false DV was cleared and dismissed, I came back to resolve the custody issue and backed up with evidence and a ton of police reports... It was no good. Simply because my ex wife drama acting was good... enough tears to soften up the supplant judge who had no clue and idea of my case. (My ex attempted to do immigration fraud by marrying me) This was the reason why she falsely accused me of DV. How can someone get away with so much!?? The system can't see what she's doing wrong? Putting our child thru this traumatic events of separating dad from child?! Even ICE denied her Type U visa application due to obvious reasons! But yet, the family court don't see this as wrong and bad for a child? Unbelievable!!!
RANT: They are clerks to PROCESS paperwork, NOT GIVE LEGAL ADVICE OR CHECK YOUR WORK and not there for you to vent about YOUR past sex partner(S).
Honestly... I do understand that this family court is there if parents can't handle the situation or come to agreements. But... when you are trying to be a good father, trying to prove that mom needs psychological help and you have the evidence! that's when you get so disappointing with the system that is running here in the court. I was falsely accused of DV and that created a temporarily custody... this while I had to take care of the false DV.
I wish there was help for us, decent people not trying to use the system to our favor and collecting welfare, and government financial aid but instead busting our buts and working OT to pay those stupid fees to FILE for custody and being denied fee waivers.
IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILTY TO KNOW WHAT PAPERWORK YOU NEED TO FILE FOR YOUR CASE... they dont know what YOUR PERSONAL EXCLUSIVE NEEDS ARE.
Frustrating and sad... me as a father, hard working person, drug free, looking out for the best for my child.... and the court leans towards this mother because she was sad? (Judge said "I'm sorry for what you are going thru mam) But she can't see that mom has been called to school by the police for beating up her teenager, social worker granting her son to move out to his dads house because he ALSO was going thru violence at home by mom. How can this be possible!!!!????
