Just very convenient and everything's always on time
Update: car was still there and undamaged! Wish there was more parking. I'm nervous about trying again
This is not an Amtrak station. It's an Ace Station on the outskirts of downtown Stockton.
Decided to try ACE as alternative to driving to Santa Clara. The station is clean, well-lit, and feels safe during the day. It's not a very active area though so not sure how I'd feel at night. Last week, I had no trouble finding parking in one of their 2 fenced parking areas, which appear to be locked overnight. When I arrived for the same train this morning, no spots left and I had to leave my car on the street outside the parking lot. Feeling pretty nervous about it being safe for 2 nights. There is a camera nearby so let's hope that's enough deterrent.
Beautifully kept building, helpful people, safe and courteous.
They do a great job and the waiting isn't that bad compared to others.
