I found Alpine Construction and Roofing through this set of reviews and did my research: no complaints with the BBB, nothing negative online, so I decided to consult them for a siding and paint job for my mother's house, since she is disabled and elderly and could not do that research herself. I wanted someone I trusted to do the siding and to arrange for a good, professional painter, which Alpine promised to do. But there were problems from the start: the painter was unprofessional, and would often not show up and wouldn't even contact us; when he would show up, he would do the work alone; he did not consult us with certain things like what color we wanted the outside fences painted, and he used substandard wood paint for those wrought iron fences; he did not use two coats of paint like the contract specified. The worst thing is that the people at Alpine let this painter replace our siding instead of doing it themselves. Painters have no business working on construction projects if they are not trained or licensed! Finally, the people at Alpine tried to backpedal on certain aspects of the contract. The process was stressful for both me and my mother, and in the end, Alpine did not take responsibility for this shoddy customer service and did not even offer an apology, much less a discount. I would never recommend them.
I have not used this company's service but my neighbor has. I can't speak to how well of a job they do but I can tell you that they are very inconsiderate, after blocking my driveway with their work trucks i had to tell them to move it. Then they preceded to use a leaf blower to clean off my neighbors (flat top) roof and blow off all the dirt and dabris on to my side yard and driveway. Maybe they do a good job i dont know, but they are likely to piss off your neighbors!
Great company. They added 1400 square feet to my house and it's Beautiful !
