Great selection, friendly staff. Butts and elbows though, very tight space in the store.
I had a great experience at Randy's. I did online research and had a few specific fish in mind, and got pretty much everything I wanted and more without any special ordering (which they are happen to do for unique needs). Randy was very informative and friendly over the phone. The staff is kind, the selection is fantastic, and the prices are great as well. Definitely my go-to LFS, and seeing as how I got home and my tank bulb is starting to go out, I'll be back in there very soon. Well worth the hour drive to get there.
Came from Turlock expecting much more based on ratings, but not very good prices, not a huge selection of fish & the neat overly priced "Randys fish" are in tiny aquariums so I just left feeling awful about the huge fish trapped in small aquariums... Wouldn't suggest this place to a friend or anyone else sadly....
Best place to go for all your fish needs. I just got into saltwater about six months ago and Randy and his son Aaron have helped me out with all my questions and given excellent advice. Thanks to them I have had a wonderful experience, and a thriving reef tank at home.
