If I could rate NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD! This was my neighborhood store, (or so I thought). When I came in the staff was always polite and fair, but one evening I bought the wrong size soda and came back within the hour to exchange it and pay the difference when one of the male staff told me, "no exchanges once it's left the store." I asked him was it the same even with a receipt (even though he neglected to furnish one) and he said "that's what I've been told...so!" I even asked him where that policy was posted in the store and he replied, "I don't know...what do you want me to do about it, that's what the owner told me!" He was very rude and I felt like he was only behaving that way because there was another white man in the store at the time he was dealing with who was smirking like the fiasco was amusing, and being I was a black young woman he felt the need to be condescending and dismissive when he could of spoken to me in a more polite manner being that I was a regular at that store. Now, I've never had an issue with any of them before, and I've chosen to spend my hard earnings with them over the time that I resided in that neighborhood but I've never witnessed a sign that displayed such an insane policy or I would've went to the dollar general across the street, 7 eleven, or Safeway. I mean really what the hell can I do with an unopened soda that was still cold from when I purchased it! He even remembered me coming in and wasn't even polite enough to say "hey, just talk to the owner in the am he can explain it better than I can." I would've appreciated that more than him being rude and dismissive. If a store has a no refund or exchange policy it is usually posted so that the customer knows that before spending their money.
Needs a renovation but very nice people.
